"Unisex names - easy to spell"
Posted by inkydot 27 September  at  13:17

Hi,

Looking for some ideas for simple unisex names where the spelling is fairly obvious.

ie, prefer names which don't need to be "spelled out" every time!

So far I've thought of the following...

Sam
Robin
Alex

Any others???

Many thanks!!

Hi i teach children and its not so simple. I have 5 Mya's, Mia, Maia, Maya I then have another Mia which is not said the same (Meya) Such a short name but 4 ways of spelling it (so far).
Sam - simple but i would still have to ask - is that spelt the normal way, is it short for anything. what do you perfer, Sam, Sammie, Sammy, Samantha.....
Robin - with a Y? or and I? One B or 2?
Alex - so far, Alex is safe, however like Sam, is it short for anything, Alexandra, Alexia...

Maybe Jamie, if u wanna make it for a boy or girl you can add a second name for each.I like Jamie Lynne, Jamie May and Jamie Avril (maybe itd be better Avril Jamie)for girls and just Jamie or Ashton Jaime for a boy.

Greetings!
