Gabriel for a little boy

Hi guys, was wondering if you could give me your opinions on the name Gabriel for a little boy?My fiance loves the name and has given me free reign on a little girls name, so i should let him have his choice for the boys name, but i'm undecided. Our surname is Heath and we were thinking Gabriel Christan Heath as a full name.

Gabriel Christan is great ... but Gabriel Christian (add an 'i' to Christan) would make it PERFECT!

Dont want to be negative but...

My cousin wanted to call his little boy Gabriel, but my nan and mum convinced him not to as they thought he may be called 'Gay' for short, esp. at school. Just thought id tel u that. However it is a nice name if people stick to calling him Gabriel or Gabe. Son of Jesus i think it means.
