My girl twin childrens weird names

Hi, im 27 and im living with my fiance, and four children, 1 set of twins.

My eldest is a boy and his name is bryan Noah Orlando (I wasnt allowed to name him Legolas, ha ha, really), not so weird. He is 8 years old.
My next child is also a boy and his name is Vincent Hyde Thor(Hyde after a Japonise singer and Thor after the Norse god), getting weirder, he is 5 and he likes his names do far.

Now, my son Bryan has a DS, and he was playing a game called 'final fantasy' on it and you know kids, he wouldnt be quiet about it, he was telling me the characters names, when i heared the name Refia being mentioned. I was pregnant at the time so i thought. Its a beautifl name, it really is, so when my child was born, it turned out to be two girls, i had this covered, earlier on i had researched strange names and i saw 'Ruan', so I named my girls Refia Dawn freja and Ruan Nyuu (Another Japonise name).

I am scaed they are going to be teased, when people ask about there nsames and i give them, they look as though i have 2 heads, i am afride they are going to hate me when they are older (they are 2 months now). Am I just over-reacting? or have i made a really big mistake? Im really worried. I love them so much.

So its:
Bryan Noah Orlando, 8
Vincent Hyde Thor, 5
Refia Dawn freja, 2 months
Ruan Nyuu Bridget, 2 months.

Refia Dawn is nice (my middle name is Dawn), but if I were you I'd be concerned about Ruan Nyuu ... way too Japanese sounding!

these names are beautiful. don't let what other people think get in the way of what YOU decide to name YOUR kids. i am planning on naming my children some reallly interesting things. horray for uncommon names! (i get teased constantly for it.)

i think the names you chose are fantastic and im sure the kids love having such imaginative names instead of charlie or sean, however im not too keen on bridget its just a name ive never really clicked with.
Im sure they will be fine, you know what kids are like what ever there against one day changes the next.
Did you find your morning sickness worse with the twins? and are they identical?

I choose the name Bridget as i wanted to have a Irish name in one of there names. I have never had bad morning sickness, my sis was sick all day with it when the was pregnant. Morning sickness wasnt a problem for me, and Refia and Ruan seem to be identical so far, exept Ruan has a smaller nose. I hope they arnt totaly identical. I would be afride of getting them confused, i havent so far.

Vincent is a beaufil name i think, we call him by his full name, i dont like the shortened names. He loves his name, he calls it a 'soldier name', dunno why. My brother and some other of my family hated it, but i turned a blind ear. Go ahead with it.

I think Refia Dawn freja, Ruan Nyuu Bridget are lovely names i dont know how you say them but i suppose that when they get older, that everyone will be use to the names and able to say them. I have never heard of that names so, its diffent but different is always better then being a copycat. You have picked up the curage to be diffent which i think is really goo. You might even start that names off and will have loads of little girls with that names. Dont worry you are over-reacting. Just remeber you like them and thats all that counts dont worry about folk saying they are funny names. They arent but are really nice which is why you picked them. Take care.

Thanks. I'm not so worried anymore. And they are pronounced Refia (REF-E-A) Dawn Freja (FRY-YA). And Ruan (ROO-AN) Nyuu (NEU-U) and bridget, i know. Weird names are the fasion now for babys, and maybe i should of gone with my fiance's choice for the girls, Stacie and Jessica, they wernt weird enough for me. If people make fun of them, then thay will have to answer to me. Ha. Thanks again.
