How do i conivince nick

not to call our baby elizabath. I hate the name and thats where my name comes from and he knows both of the reason i dont want it. He has said that elizabath would only be on the birth paper and he would chose a nick name. But thats not going to be the case, will have to use it docs, school, ect. I have chosen to pick boys names and nick has to pick girls but when we decided on that we said we both have to like it. Its going to be a long 7 months of aguring about it if i dont conivince him not to go for it. please help

Try a compromise

Maybe use names from Elizabeth to make a new name, and a middle name:

Liza Beth
Eliza Beth
Liza Bethany
Eliza Bethany

Something like that! Hope it helps!

Having the same trouble

its sooo hard but we did it your way i had boys and he had girls and i found out it was a boy at 20 weeks and had my heart set on riley i gave birth and he looked nothing like a riley my oh wanted ferguson(after alex) i was like no way but we settled on toby. so dont put too much into it try and coax him with libby then change it a little more men are easy to talk around. but with my daughter we simply couldnt pick a name and we went right up to the deadline but we settled on lydia
so good luck and happy arguements
