My little boy is also called Logan, and people either love it or hate - but it is so nice to get a reaction! I have another baby due in 7 weeks - a girl. We are thinking of Ellie for this one but can't find a nice middle name? Any ideas - you obviously have impeccible taste!!!

If we had a girl we were going to call her Abigail - Abbie for short! What about that for a middle name? xxx

I think this sounds lovely - it has a really nice ring to it. Even without the middle name, Logan Shaw is a really lovely name.
The very best of luck to you and hope that babe makes an appearance very soon.
Lots of love

I think it's one of the most un-original and overused names I've ever heard. Try again.

"Try again???" Posted by tracyh 6 November at 22:41
I think perhaps it is you who should 'try again' and this time maybe do some homework...if you look at the records you will find the name Logan does not appear in the top 50 names for baby boys since before 2002.
What does that mean I hear you ask? Let me answer to save you some brain hurt.
If the name is not in the top 50 for five years running it can't possibly be 'over-used' nor can it be classed 'un-original' as few people choose the name opting to stay with more conventional/or common names - not that there is anything wrong with conventional names of course!
I fail to see what your opinion is based on...
Must try harder!!!

Its a very very very bonnie name, I agree with another post (sorry cant remeber their name, pregnancy brain on) bonnie without the middle name but bonnie with it. Its the name you love and you must have picked it for a really good reason, so dont let folk put you off of it, if you did decided to change it then it would be hard to come up with another one as you like that one so much you cant think Go for it, Logan (hope right spelling, preg brain again) Edwards Shaw. Take care Love Lis
