"Names... && a-z" Posted by elzpop 15 June at 13:38
I like these names: Boys: Tyler Jacob Toby James Josh Oscar
Girls: Skye Emilie Ella Ellen Ruby Mia Scarlett Elena
I found the best way is to write down the letters A-Z and then quickly think of a name for each letter. Then pick out the best ones.
Thanks, Ellie

"Re: "unusual baby name ideas"" Posted by pixie93 31 May at 18:06
my family is really into unusual names too. We've got:
Ryan (Celtic means little ruler) Blake (English means dark) Calvin (Latin means bald) Jolyon (Latin means youthful) Inti-Raymi (Peruvian means Festival of the Sun) Blaise (Latin means one who stammers) Talisha (African-American means Damsel Arise) Chloe (Greek means blooming) Damaris (Latin means gentle) Nadine (Slavic means hope)
I personally really like: Boys: Lance (Old French/ Old German means knights attendant/ land) Nicolas (Greek means vitorious people) Derek (Old German means ruler) Oliver (Old Norse/ Latin/ Old French means kind one/ olive tree/ peace)
Girls: Skyler (Scandinavian/ English means learned one/ Eternal life, strength, love and beauty) Georgia (Greek means farmer/ to work the earth) Casey (Celtic/Gaelic means brave, watchful)
i hope this helps!

"Congratulations x" Posted by ashlea86 21 May at 23:25
I have a 2 month old boy and I named him Tyler, I love the name. I also considered Bailey and Harrison for a boy. For girls, I wanted either Kiya (which is Egyptian and means jovial lady) or Kenzie (which is Scottish and means pretty). x x

"Sienna and caden" Posted by jecsk89 20 May at 14:53
Hi There. Congratulations on having twins. I am a teacher, so unusual but strong names are important to me, because it's hard to find names that aren't already associated with kids I've taught. My son's name is Caden Evan, and my daughter's name is Sienna Rebecca. Caden was virtually unheard of when my son was born, but I've heard it more recently. I don't personally know anyone with the name Sienna, but I love it! Good luck with everything!

"Love your names" Posted by chrissyb2 17 May at 20:46
Your names are different and sound great...wouldn't even be able to help with middle names I think they are going to have to be really special to go with their first names.
My little boy is called Theo and he is named after the Cat! All's I can say is thank god we only had one child - my brain would have exploded if would have had to pick 2 names!!!
Good luck with your search x

Have you tried looking at old traditional names that aren't that common anymore, or looking for an irish name?

"I like thosetoo" Posted by moosey1 21 June at 23:47
My little girl is called Cassidy. We tried so many unusual names, but since I have met 1 Cassie (think she was a Cassidy) an there has been a Cassie on that WAGS program and a singer since we named her. Only reason for name is 1st child born in US and we wanted 2 give her american name. I also liked Kennedy. My last list consided of Cassidy, Ebony (which seems to be getting popular) and Bryony. My 1st child picked from those, so Cassidy it was

"Unusual names" Posted by hayley737 20 March at 12:53
Hi, I like unusual names too, and think its lovely when the children don't have to use their surname as well for recognition at school. My two boys are called Kallen (little warrior) and Shay (courteous), most people seem to like the names. Good luck
