it's so annoying when someone beats you to a name you like, Eva would have been pretty but I like Carla and Ella or Ellie just as much with Rose if it helps! I'm really lucky, only 10+4 weeks pregnant and got girls and boys names all picked out already, will be typically me if they change completely when I see him or her for the first time though, it's hard to know til you finally meet them I think. Hopefully you'll know as soon as you look at her, got my fingers crossed she arrives soon for you hun.

Lotsa love,
Clare xxx

"Girl's names!"

Hi ya all!
I'm due this week and thinking of girls names.
Please be honest. We really want a simple girls name that is gentle and shortish. Nothing too different but kinda unique to our child! confusing, I know!!!!

Carla (First choice)
Beth
Ella/ Ellie
Mia
Bria
Thea
Bronwyn
Alana
we also thought of Eva (but a friend has named her baby this so we have to forget it!)

We have Chosen the second name Rose and our surname is Pollock so the name will be:

???????? Rose Pollock
I'd really appreciate your suggestions!

Thanks, Jo x

I've always thought Thea was a really pretty name. I assume you are thinking of pronouncing it thee-uh (rhyming with fee). Have you though of pronouncing it tay-uh. I think both are beautiful and go well with Rose. Of the others though, I really like Ella.

Best luck!
