How exciting x x twins

hello i'm fiona, i have 5 children, and naming them was so much fun but stressful too... don't worry about trying to give them a name that seems un common as you'll soon hear of a few littlies with the same name, i have a chloe jane, joshua karl, kathleen esther, whom we call katie (as i don't want her called kat or kath kathy as i feel they are really old names,) then we have ryley alfred george and sarah-may grace, if i went in to the reasons why they have these names i'd be here all day, lol but it was all mainly family ideas and names
you have to imagine yourself calling your children, see what names come to mind, ask your family what names they like, write the names in full, see how it looks,
you are so lucky i woulda loved twins a boy and girl, wow x
i don't know why but i have gemma in my mind ??? no boys name though if one springs up i'll let you know,
but in the mean time keep us posted when are they due ? all the best xx

Katie

Kathleen does seem a little old-fashioned, or not necessarily old-fashioned, but more for a 30 year old -- as you said. If you do really like the name, than go ahead and name her that, you could call her Katie if you think that Kathleen sounds too old. But keep in mind, that if you name her Kathleen, than the name will be transformed for you, and after she is born than when you hear the name Kathleen than what you will think of is your little girl and not a 30 year old woman.
Isobel and Jack are good as well, but probably more common among children that will be their ages.

Best of luck, let us know what you decide!

Twins names

those names are nice, if you think kathleen sounds a bit old fashioned then what about Katherine?

I like

Isabelle/Isobel and Jack. My favorite names are

boys:
Reuben James
Max Thomas
Alexander Max

girls:
Esmae Grace
Sofia Grace
Madeline Grace
Phoebe Skye

I have a friend whose daughter is called Isabelle Sofia which is a beautiful name. what do u think of these?

good luck!! xx

Boy/girl twins...

Two of my friends have had boy/girl twins....first set are Paddy and Grace and the other set are Jack and Olivia... it took a while for everyone to get used to little Paddy as it is quite an "older" name, like your "Kathleen" but once you place the name the person (i.e. kathleen/paddy) becomes that person - hope that makes sense. Personally, I like Jack and Olivia as a combi.
Good luck
M

Hi

I like Jack and Olivia too
