I have 3 children 18, 16, 12 and I just found out that I am expecting again, wow, after all these years! I named my children Danielle because when she was born she had jet black hair and royal blue eyes, John Jr. after his father, and Nolan Ryan after a famous baseball player in the United States and boy is my son ever living up to that name, he is an awesome pitcher! I am now trying to find an unusual name for our new baby because I like unusual names!

I have children

My oldest is my 8 year son Darren, Its a name that stuck with me about a very rebelious kid from a book i read for a gread six project.

Next is my 4 year old daughter Sadira, her name also stuck with, i read a book called the verdant passage by dark sun when i was 16, Sadira was a wize but fun loving scorecer (sorry cant spell well) (magick weilder).

Then comes my daughter Victoria (Tori. I was 8 months pregnant and my husband and I still hadnt choosen a name that seemed to fit, so i jumped into a yahoo chat room and asked people to start spouting out unique baby names, nothing seem to work. Then this girl pmed and said how about my name *Victoria*. And that was It it stuck, i asked my husband and he agreed right away. Now the unique thing about this is I have always hated the name Victoria! never meet one that wasnt stuck up and snotty (sorry to ne one here with that name =) ) But I got over just said people wouldnt be calling her Vicki, So I started calling her Tori right away and it stuck.

My last child is my son Carlos. His father named him because he was very close to a man named Carlos and he was suddenly taken away from due to a terminal illness so it just seemd the right thing to do.

Were, canadain and White. (many poeple get fusterated at Carlos being white, not spanish.... but the originally Carlos was from PEI)

I'm 31 and I have girl who is six and her name is SAMANTHA ADITH, I chose Samantha because when growing up I would watch "Who's The Boss" with Alyssa Milano and loved her and Adith because my name is Adriana and my nickname is Adi and its also a tradition to have the first or the second name starting with the letter "A".
My boy is 5 and his name is ALEK ZETH, Alek for a mexicano singer known as "Aleks Syntek" but my husband and I decided Alek with no "s" at the end and Zeth for the movie "City of Angels" with Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage my husband liked the name Zeth.
I can't have any more kids but the Ava Sophia I like.

What did i name my children..

My first daughter is called MEGAN GRACE she is 11 in January. I picked her name as i always loved the name MEGAN which is welsh for Margeret,i picked GRACE as it was the name of my grandmother
My second daughter is called LORRAINE MARTINA she is 10 in March. Her father picked her name as he loved LORRAINE and MARTINA was after his name.
My third daughter is called NATALIE ANNE she was 5 in September. I picked the name NATALIE from a friend of mine from school and ANNE from my mothers and my aunts names.
We live in Co.Kildare in Ireland.

Martje Christin (3). Martje and Femke are both names from the Netherlands. When I heard these names I fell in love with them. I wanted my girls to be the onlyones to turn around when I call them on the street

. The middlenames we chose because they are international and everybody can tell by the names that they are girls.

I had twin boys last september in the UK. We came up with names during my stay in hospital, pre-op. We ended up with twin boys, Bailey Tristan and Jodi Jermaine. The reason one was called Bailey and not the other was because it looked as if he was trying to eat his brother and my now husband said it reminded him of a Jamaican celebrity 'Big Belly Bailey' lol. Not too cute but it's worked

Nyah Isabella who is 9 and Jamila Macy who is 6

Nyah's name is Aboriginal meaning bend in the river, her middle name is after her grandmother and Jamila's name is African meaning beautiful, my husband and I liked Macy.

My girls have a grandfather who is Aboriginal and African heritage.

I love both there names! But I'm bias! lol

HI i have four children and one on the way.

my first born was called George Thomas, George is 5 and was after my grandfather whom i loved very much and thomas was because i liked it, lol!

my second child was a little girl Elinor Beatrice and she is 4. I chose Elinor because it was the favourite character of mine in the book sense and sensibility as a child, i chose the same spelling too, and beatrice because that was my dh granny's name... she sometimes gets called ellie-bea.

my second daughter is 3 and her names is Darcie Elisabeth. my DH and i chose darcie because we thought she was going to be a boy and dh had always like Darcy.. but then she was a girl and so we changed the spelling. My little sisters name is elisabeth.

My third little girl is Fern Adrienne and she is 18months, Fearne was a very inspirational teacher of mine at school and i always thought her name way pretty, i just decided on the original spelling for my baby and Adrienne ia after my dh brother Adrian.

we are hoping the next baby will be a boy to even things out a bit, but have chosen the names
Oscar Jack/ William Finely for a boy and for a little girl we have chosen Kiki Jayne/ Annie Cate/ or Jayney Cate.

I am from New Zealand.

My eldest son (age 11) is Malachi Demetrius. My husband wanted his son to have a Biblical name, and we actually had a listed of potential names. When Malachi was born, my husband and I both agreed that he suited Malachi the best. Demetrius is the name of the handsome prince imaginary friend I had as a small child, and he had a lot of qualities I wanted my son to have.

My second son (age 9) is Elijah Diego. His first name was decided in the same way as his brother. Diego is a variant form of James, which is my grandfather's name.

My eldest daughter (age 6) is Farrah Heidi. I had just always loved the name Farrah, and when I suggested it my husband loved it too, so we named her Farrah. Heidi is the name of my best friend.

My third son (age 5) is Jesse Lucas. Like the other boys, we had a list of Biblical boys names, and he most suited Jesse. The name Lucas is is memory of my younger brother, who passed away two days after Jesse was born.

One of my two youngest (both 3) is Mischa Eve. When Mischa was born, she had beautiful long legs and feet, and we thought of the ballet dancer Mikhail Barishnykov, so we named her Mischa (which is the feminine form of Misha, Mikhail's nickname). Her middle name is my husband's grandmother's name.

My other youngest is Autumn Isabella. When Autumn was born, she reminded us of the crisp beauty of Autumn leaves. Her middle name is my sister's name.

I am pregnant with my seventh (and probably last) child, who will be a girl. So it's time to start thinking of names again!
