Baby not feeding... help needed.

my 15 week old baby is not interested in drinking any milk. she doesnt want to be breast fed or from the bottle. attempts to feed by syringe is slow and maximum amount entered is about 2 oz. i have tried changing milk but nothing works... any advise..?

I have the same problem with my 9 week old! She attemps to suck on my breasts, but becomes very impaitient and will not wait for my now very slow let down to kick in, and even when it does, she still pulls off very quickly. My milk supply has decreased dramatically and Regular pumping is not imroving this.
She refuses to take a bottle and I too have been forced to feed with a syringe using her dummy to suck it down.
I have tried all kinds of teats and positions and nothing has been working. I don't know where to go to next...
She is a reflux baby though, which explains alot of the refusal, but I didn't think it would get this bad.

I am back off the the pead in a couple of days, so hopefully he can help with the situation.

Re: problem feeding

Our son was born premature - but he is now term and still not feeding himself. His problems sound very similar those you describe.

Can you give any advice how problem was resolved.
