"Wet wipes "
Posted by babygirlhall 22 August  at  18:50

My son is now 1 month old and i was just wondering what age it is ok to use wet wipes instead of cotton wool and water? I have some packs of wet wipes already and they are pampers sensitive, is ok to change to wet wipes now? Is his skin still to sensitive? The last thing i want to do is upset his skin.

Thank you!

I only used water and cotton wool whilest in hospitaal then i moved on to johnsons or pampers wet wipes. I cant remember which ones. Im now using boots own wet wipes they come in a purple pack. They are on buy one get one free. £1.99 for 2 packs, a bargin. Ive found that the other brand were too wet and my baby didnt like them.Hope this helps.

Ps you must do what you feel is right, its your baby.

Good luck Christine and baby Daniel

you should do what right for you and baby! I used cotton wool and water with my 1st for months and only used wipes when out and about. But with second it was straight on to wipes when we left hospital and have always used tesco own with him, suited him fine, his skin is a bit sensitive but tesco wipes have been gr8. Think i gonna try boots though, whilst they on offer!! Anything to save a few pennies!!

Good luck
