hi, i'm just wondering, how long does cradle cap last?
My son got it at about 6 weeks, he's now almost 12 weeks and still has it. We're treating him with the shampoo, putting olive oil on his head every night, but as soon as we think its gone, and stop using the oil, it comes back again.

Any ideas/advice?

Hi my son had this from about 6 weeks ,i tried absolutly everything and at about 6 months his hair started growing quite thickly so it covered it and it finally went when he was about a year..but i like you found i had to use the olive oil constantly or it came back..i tried all the chemist stuff but nothing worked.one thing i tried that seemed to help for longer was head and shoulders..i used only the tiniest bit as its strong ,washed it and then combed it afterwoods and that helped for a while but it is a real pain to get rid of..good luck.

Periods - when do they return? When will he sleep through the night?Hi there! i'm new...Hey mumsShould i wake baby for his feed?Baby wide awake all day long - helpCan anyone advise? My babySorry - i mean we do not have a bath, only a shower!! ignore previous post!Milk??Wet wipes
