"Is he teething?"
Posted by babygirlhall 1 November  at  17:15

Hi,
My son is now 3 1/2 months old and is always chewing and sucking on his hands, he also puts everything in his mouth. I know that is how they tell what things are, textures etc but i wondered what age any of your children started teething? My mum tells me i was 3 months when i got mine, i have looked at his gum (bottom front) and looks like little white bumps but unsure if it is teeth or just his gum!

Thanks

Marie & Joshua

Hi,my little boy is 10mths old.He got his bottom 2 teeth at the same time at 9mths old. Before this he was always chomping on his fists & anythin else! I think its pretty normal & teeth can come at any age,a friends little 1 didnt get his till he was 1yr.
There are normally other things that come with teething, such as a runny nose, sore bum &sometimes a raised temperature.
My little 1 may have been abit late with teeth but im proud 2 say hes only just 10mths & just started walking! My little girl was 11 1/2mths when she walked so just shows everything happens at different times for them all.
Enjoy him x
