| Thread started by: | "He is teething but when will his teeth show? " Posted by babygirlhall 26 November at 12:30
Hi, My son is 4 1/2 months and has been showing signs of teething for the past month. He wants to put everything in his mouth and bite! If he gets your finger into his mouth he bites down really hard, he is pulling down on his bottom gum and moans alot. Can anyone tell me how long (approx) it takes for the teeth to show and break through? I have heard that the bit before the teeth break through is more painful for them then when they actually break through, is this true? Any mums who can offer me any advice would be a great help.
Thankyou
Marie & Joshua x

hi, my son is nearly 5 months, and his 2 front bottom teeth just came through this week. He's been teething for probably the past 5 or 6 weeks. I think its usually those teeth that come through first, the week before they came through, they were really visable under the gum, so we knew it'd be any day.
