Thought I'd tell you a bit about me.
I am 23, 24 next month!! And I live in Nottingham with my fiance of 9 years (childhood sweethearts) and I had my amazing little boy, Kieran on 8th November 2007 (due date) weighing in at 6lb 12oz by forceps.
He is now 6 months old and I have just started him on solids - such a messy time but sooo worth it to see his face as he tastes new things. He is still a small chap and weighs 14lb 9oz. He's long and lean, just like his Dad!
I love him so much, I cant imagine what life was like before I had him to fill up my days!

thanks for th reply! nice to hear from you!
How time flies! Finlay is now 4month old and because he was so hungry has been on rusks from 3 1/2 months and now has breakfast porridge and a small tea just to keep him satisfied..milk just does not do it for him unfortunately and he is much more content on the food!
I cant believe Kieran is only 14lb 9oz!lol Finlay was 7lb when he was born and at his last weigh in was 14lb 11OZ! little chubba!Lol but is on target for his weight so not really that concerned!Lol
i know what you mean..when finlay is with his grandad or dad for a few hours i feel so lost dunno what to do lol...first time i left him with anyone, thought i d left him at home or in the aisle of asda (where i was shopping at the time) and kept hearing babies cry thinkin it was him..lol alot better now!
So is Kieran crawling yet? any teeth etc..?
take care and hope to hear from you soon Haylez and Finlay xx

Time does definately fly...way too fast!! Still feels like yesterday when he was a tiny helpless little bundle who just ate, slept and cried a bit. You can't keep the little monkey still now - he doesn't want to be held and cuddled, he's ready for the off!
He's not crawling just yet but is trying his very hardest and gets very frustrated that he's not getting very far. He has just discovered his little fella and grabs at that as soon as his nappy comes off!! No teeth visible yet but I don't think they are far off, yesterday he was really grumpy and dribbly and constantly knawing on his little hands. He seems to be enjoying his solids, so far so good. Also over the last couple of days he keeps rolling over onto his tummy in his cot and back again - means I can't sleep until he is, in case I have to flip him back over again.
It is so hard to leave him though, I've not actually left him properly yet...I'm breastfeeding, so would have to prepare bottles etc for while I'm gone and I can't bring myself to do it yet!
Sounds like Finlay is coming on leaps and bounds, you must be doing a great job! I love being a mummy, feels like I've finally found my place!!

I know what you mean! I cant believe how much finlay has grown! He too flips over onto his belly but has not mastered turning back onto his back yet and gets throughly frustrated when he cant! The other night i put him down for bed and when i got up with him at 4am he somehow managed to turn himself sideways!lol little tinker!
Finlay has been slaverin since he was about 2month old..can see some in his bottom gum but have not pushed up yet...he has been a nightmare these past couple of days with them..was up last night at ten, twelve, two and four, (only wanted to be cuddled in lol) admitted defeat by 4am and gave him a bottle, tried to put him back down and he was having none of it..he ended up sleepin in my bed with me and went straight back down till 8am!lol
haha love it when little boys discovered their little fellas!lol finlay has just discovered he has feet and tries to grab his toes all the time and roll over!lol I love it when he giggles, had him in creases this morning playing peek a boo!Lol
It is hard to leave them, i still get the shakes sometimes when i leave fin, but i have to do it as i have been finishing my uni course and go back to work in june/july time! I was orignally breast feeding but it did not work out as he was so hungry ( he has 5 7oz bottles of hungry baby milk a day, a bowl of baby porridge in the morning and half a jar of food and half a jar of puddin for tea at the moment!greedy boy) the health visitor thought i was making it up to how hungry he was till she came round to talk about weening and saw how quick he drained his milk (basically within 5mins)lol
I hate health visitors (well everyone i have had are horrible) I know they are meant to advise you on stuff but half of them don't have a clue...really to advise someone on feeding and stuff you have to have kids of your own and most of them don't so they don't really understand it!Lol i feel at the end of the day, you know your own baby and despite what they 'advise' you should go with your gut instinct (which i have with finlay to a certain extent and he is so content and happy most of the time lol)
ooo feel like i have talked too much now!Lol
take care xxx
