I have a 6.5 month old son and he can not sit by himself yet, he just topples over to one side. Have you tried Joshua in a Bumbo seat?

Freddie has just started to crawl a step or 2 but not properly. Not all babies crawl, my niece use to "bum shuffle"

Hope this helps

Hi,
My son is nearly 8months but does not yet sit alone. He can support himself if propped up and can pull himself forward to get something if he wants it. He is a very strong baby and will stand when supported, when i try to get him to sit alone he wont relax he just tries to straighten his legs and ends up pushing himself back. All the magazines/books i have read say he should be sitting/nearly sitting by now. Do all babies sit? He is so keen to move around, always trying to get up and go. He does not crawl either, just rolls from one side of the room to the other.
Any info helpful.

Marie & Joshua x
