my twin girls are now 15 weeks. This is their routine;

6.30/7 first feed
10ish feed
Sleep in cot for around 45mins/1hr
1.30/2ish feed
Sleep in cot for around 45mins/1hr
5.30/6ish feed
Playtime and-bath (every other night)
Bed around 8ish
10 dream feed-no nappy change-unless soiled nappy). They don't normally open their eyes!
Sleep right through (apart from odd cry around 3, then fall back to sleep.

I've done this for a few weeks now and it really works!!

Hi All,
Just wanted a bit of advice. My little boy Jack is nearly 10 weeks old and i have got him in a fairly good routine. I give him his last bottle of the day at 8pm after a kick about with his nappy off and a bath. He will then sleep until around 3.30am have a bottle and sleep (most nights) untill 6.30-7am. This means for me to get some decent sleep i have to go to bed at 9.30ish. which doesnt give me and my partner much time together alone. He works nights half the week so we dont see a great deal of each other anyway.
I Wanted to start feeding jack at midnight instead of leaving him untill 3.30ish and seeing if he will sleep through untill 6.30-7ish. Does anyone else follow a similar routine?? How does it work for you??
Any advice would be much appreciated

Love Michelle

"Oliver was the same!"

Hi Michelle
Oliver was the same as this at about 10 weeks and i did what you are thinking of doing. i tried it and after a couple of nights oli was feeding at 7.30pm then 11.30pm then sleeping till about half 7am. this meant that i got a good 8 hr stretch almost everynight. this carried on for about 4 weeks and then feeling v tired one night i had an early night meaning that i was going to leave oli to tell me when he wanted feeding and amazingly he slept through without the 11.30pm feed and woke at half 7! genius!
at 5months i moved him into his own room and since then he has been sleeping from 8 till 8 since! so i would definately recommend giving it a try! good luck xx

Hi there, all 3 of mine were in good routine quite early on and all slept trough the night no later than 10 wks...i always tried to give them their last feed around 10-11pm and that would see them right through, so see if you can adjust the feeds in the day slightly and do maybe feeds at 6-10-2-6-10 o'clock, i found this to be a pefect routine for feeds and it worked for 3 of them..i know all babies are different but it might work for you too....

Good luck...

"Try waking him"
Posted by blisster 20 March  at  10:50

Hi Michelle,
My partner works nights too 4 on and 4 off. Since Lewis was 2 months, he has been having a feed about 7.30 - 8 in the evening and he then goes off to sleep. I wake him just before i am going to bed usually about midnight, change him, give him a feed and he sleeps through till about 6 or 7 in the morning.
