My boy is almost six months old. He's main food continues to be breastmilk, but I also give him one serving of fruit before noon and another serving of vegetables in the afternoon (I work fulltime) Of course everything has to be mashed and the vegetables have to be boiled well first, before you mash them. Since they're boiled, they've already lost all of their vitamins, but teddy's pediatrician told me tio give him these so he can get to know the flavours and not make problems later. As far as the fruits are concerned, he absolutely adores them. I give him, apples, pears, peaches, bananas, figs. usually, I combine two or three for him. vegetables: carrots, potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, pumpkin, etc. I mix the vegetables with a bit of formula and ad a bit of olive oil. you can also give him cheerios, if you like, he'll love playing with it and they're healthy, full of carbs and will melt in his mouth.
hope I helped teddy

forgot to add something. All the fruits and vegetables Teddy eats are prepared at home. I do not give him jars of babyfood or anything of the sort. And I think, why give him jars when it'll take a few minuts to prepare food for him. take an apple, wash an apple, peel it and throw it in the blender and it's done. It is much more healthy than eating pre-prepared baby food, I think. The same goes for the vegetables, wash them, cut them in small pieces, throw them in a pot, put a bit of water (this way the''ll mostly be steamed) and them throw them in the blender.

is a good option if you wanted something sweet. I give freddy mango or pear. Just buy the tins of it without the syrup and put it in the blender and he loves it! I think theyre allowed jelly, not too sure. dont see why not.Maybe if you get one with reduced sugar or something. Cow and Gate and Hipp do quite nice jars of deserts...custard, rice pudding, crumble! Good luck Beci and Freddy 6 months x x
