Infacol?

Hi
I am finally part of this forum, too. Ashira Lucy was born on 10th June after induction since she was 2 weeks late...
I would like to ask all you mummies out there now if you have had any experience with Infacol. Ashira is a bit colicy after each feed and I have been advised to give her Infacol. Does it help?

Thank you for all your advice! Infacol seems to work alright so far. She isn't 100% fine yet but I think the crying is less due to cramps now

Thank you again. It is so much fun to "see" all you ladies here with whom I have shared pregnancy issues in the pregnancy forum before. Isn ... great that our babies are finally here? )

Katy

Hi katy

I agree with Katy, colief is fantastic. Traivys has been soooo bad with colic - he was crying nearly all night but colief, Dr Browns bottles and a cranial osteopath seem to be easing him symptoms. He still suffers but not nearly so bad as he was

Love Nikki & Traivys 8 weeks tomorrow xx

Archie is only 6 days old but he has been suffering terribly!! The MW told be to use it before every feed which I sort of do but do forget from time to time but it seems to have really kept it at bay and for the first time last night he slept well! I would strongly advise using it xx

Hey hunny

welcome to B&T, and what a beautiful name for your little one
I agree with the adcice from leitia and Nikki, but also its always worth a try to sit her more upright during her feeds if you can, and also when winding if your struggling to get the wind up.. then try winding her with her ladi accross your knees on her tummy. hav one knee raised slightly higher again as this will help raise her head slightly!
I have always found when I have looked after really collicky babies winding them like this has helped to relieve their symptoms!
Hope this helps hunny x x x x x

Hello..

and welcome to B+T... and congratulations on the birth of Ashira..

I used infacol for George.. it works better over a few days but i found it is not 100% effective but helps and after 6 days didnt really make a difference.. i think it depends how windy your baby is...

If Ashira is very colicky try using Dr Brown bottles.. they are expensive but work well and combined with infacol should solve a problem..

Good Luck xx
