C section advice and piccies!

Hey Ladies

just wondering if any of you had any tips for recovering and healing from a c section, with hormones and being uncomfortable and hot, finding some mornings really hard.

Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Also piccies up of my baby girl

Hey hun

I know how you feel. The first week has been hard, but I find its getting a lot easier now. I was sent home with 2 types of painkiller. Did you get any? I am trying to take them as little as I can because they are making me really constipated!! Which in itself is really painful. Have you tried having a cool Lavender bath, its really good for healing wounds? And the coolness will help with the heat.
It does get better hun, I am not so bad now, i I take my painkillers b4 I go to bed and then again first thing in the morning I find I can manage through the day.

I hope you start feeling better soon. The pics are lovely, Paige is gorgeous

Arnica, hypericum, paracetamol and ice packs!

Hi,
good luck with your healing - it is crap and takes ages. I took loads of arnica and hypericum - from the health shop, they are for muscle, tissue and nerve repair. For swelling I used ice packs and I WISH I had seen a doctor as soon as I thought something wasn't quite right with my healing. The same happened with three other women I know, we each had problems but thought/hoped it was all normal or would fix itself - we each ended up back in hospital.

take care
it is really boring but take it easy too, get family or friends to babysit for 40 minutes to an hour so you can nap

Awwwwww, Megan is beautiful!! Really, really beautiful!!

Afraid I have no advice on recovering from a c-section because I haven't had one!

Take care
