How do you get baby to take water?

With it being so warm we tried Sam with a bottle of cooled boiled water today. I was expecting him to get all annoyed when he realised it wasnt milk but then he seemed to be taking it till i realised he'd pushed his tongue out and it was running down his neck...little devil!

He keeps getting constipated in this weather and i'm sure it's cos he gets a bit dry.

Any hints and tips?

Well this is a momentous occasion for me. Its the first time on here I've been able to offer advice rather than just ask for it . I found with Traivys that you need to just keep persevering. They are not used how the water feel in thier mouths and are expecting milk, but for the first time today he guzzled his water down.

I also tried a weak fennel tea cooled down as it is supposed to be good for their digestive systems but he def didn;t like that but some babies do.
