Advice ladies

Im now 28+2 into my 2nd pregnancy and for the past day ive been getting painful BH and getting a feeling like ive been being sucked down from the bottom of my fibs right out of my bits (if that makes any sence at all).
Also for all ive been feeling flutters ive not felt any good strong movements from bump. (Its usually extreamly active). My bump also seems much smaller this morning and is definetly firmer. (my OH thinks he can see that its smaller so im not imagineing it.

Anyway the reason im posting is to see if anyone else has had this and what it could be? and wether i should be harrassing my midwife?

Ive got a naff midwife so know i will be made to feel like im wasting there time if i go there streight away.

thanks

kirst and elliot 13 months and bump x

Hey hon

any more movement? I remember Sam having quiet days but if you are concerned balls to her being naff, it's her job, who cares what she thinks! let us know how you get on x x x

Hi kirst

I had symptoms like the ones you describe with one of my pregnancies, was a bit further along than you though at 33 weeks.

The lack of feeling such strong movements & looking a bit smaller could just be because baby has changed position.

With regard to the strong bh though I was adviced to rest up in hope that the would ease off, even though i didn't get off my butt for the best part of 24 hours mine gone stronger so i had to go in & have an injection to try to prevent the baby coming early. Luckily it worked & in the end he was late!!!

If you are still worried after some rest then i would go to midwife, don't feel you cant go hun, that is their job.

Maybe have a bath as this can encourage baby to move, it may well be led in an awkward position, causing you to feel uncomfortable xXx

Hi hun

i don't think i had anything like that, but whenever i was unsure of anything that involved fewer movements and changes in sensations we went to the docs (or maternity ward if it was after doc's surgery hours).
always worth being sure

let us know hun
hugs

xxxx

very quiet on here today
