When should i start potty training?

My name is Laura I have a one year old little boy named Zane. From the begining he has hated to have a wet diaper on. As soon as he goes he wants to be changed, though that is not allways the case now since he has beeen to a new baby sitter. I am not sure if she changes him enough and don't know how to confront her about it. She takes things really personal. Most people say he is too young to start potty trainig, is he? Please help.

Let your child tell you when

My 2.5yr old girl is potty training at the moment but its not my first attempt at training her. We are on our third attempt to start. Something seems to have clicked in her and seems to be getting it.

I was pulling my hair out and read a lot of articles and posts on the internet but found eventually that nature took its course. Easy to say now though...

I would recommend having a look at the Pull Ups website, even if you don't use the products there's a good video guide which certainly helped put my mind at rest.

Potty training

hi laura my name is kerry in reply to your question about potty training i have a 4 year old daughter and a 14month old son and my daughter started going on the potty when she was 20 months and i got my son his first potty today as he is the same as your zane.
get him a potty and just show him wot u have to do but take it slow or he might refuse altogether.
let him walk about with out a nappy and every 20mins sit him on the potty and when he does go prase him lots.
i hope that helps you

Hello

I STARTED POTTY TRAINING MY SON JUST AFTER IS 2ND BIRTHDAY. I STARTED MID SEPT SLOWLY AND BY NOV HE WAS CLEAN. FIRST I LEFT HIM WANDERING AROUND THE HOUSE WITH NO PANTS AND AS SOON AS HE NEEDED GOING I PUT HIM QUICKLY ON THE POTTY WHICH I KEPT VERY CLOSE BY.
THERE WERE LOTS OF ACCIDENT AT THE BEGINNING BUT AS SOON AS HE ASSOCIATES HIS NEED WITH THE POTTY,IT WENT VERY WELL. JUST PRAISE HIM EACH TIME HE DOES IT RIGHT.
GOOD LUCK!

Hi laura

How old is ur little one? Can he sit already? U can start potty training as soon as he can sit by himself without support. No problem at all!

CU,
Irina
