Babies and this heat?????

Hey,

Mickey is not coping at all well with the heat. He has gone right off food and has not really eaten for 2 days now but is drinking!

All he wants to do is sleep? he is a year next Friday - ah! Anyone else finding theirs want to sleep and not eat?

Getting a bit worried cos of all the problems i've had!

THE HEAT DOESN'T LIKE HER AT ALL. IF SHE STAYS OUT IN IT FOR MORE THAN A COUPLE HOURS ( EVEN WITH SUNSCREEN & A HAT ) IT MAKES HER SICK ( GONNA BE LIKE ME I RECKON, I USUALLY FAINT ! )

As long as they are all keeping their fluids down i think that should be ok.

I would really love a thunderstorm now to clear the air! xXx

My little girl Olivia is 15 months & shes not eating much either, however she is drinking lots like u say. I've been giving her yoghurt and ice pops, and apple and she seems to b ok with that, just not meals or sandwiches, maybe try him with the same?

Well I hava newborn who is biting n bobbing 2.
My 3 yr old is eatin but only givin small amounts. I'm sure if he is drinking lots then that should be ok, at least he is hydrated. Thats the more important thingi
I know when little ones r ill the doctors always say as long as they are getting fluids then its ok, i'm sure the same advice would b given in this heat. I ain't been 2 bothered about food though. It is very hoy n ur appetite isn't the same.
Just keep him cool n watered!!!!!!!!
