so worried

I am so scared!! When I was feeding Archie last night I noticed a hard lumpy area on his neck under his ear!! He only has it on the 1 side!! Being medically minded of course I am now thinking the worse: what if its something really sinister, I dont know what I'd do if theres something really wrong with him, I didnt sleep a wink last night, I just sat watching him all night!

Ive booked a doctors appointment at 1040 to get it checked, Im going to be a nervous wreck
Ive also got to get my C-Sec scar checked out coz its really painful again and looks infected!!

A REALLY worried Adele+Archie 2wks+1

Hey

Hope you dont mind but ive just popped over from expecting. Im pressuming by the time you read this you will have already been to the doctors so will hopefully know more about whats wrong with little Archie. Like the other ladies said though its probably one of his lymph nodes as you get them in the neck, the armpit and the groin, and im sure some other places too.

Let us know how he gets on and make sure you are taking care of yourself too.

Hey Adele,

This sounds like one of his glands are up... i have a lump behind my ear it flared up about 4 years ago and hasnt gone down, doctor said it was due to stress and they can just flare up for unknown reasons sometimes. By now you would have gone to the doctor with him, let us know have you've got on but im sure its notthing serious.

HUGE HUG!!!!!

L & R (4weeks 2days)xx

I know its easier said than done but just wanted to say good luck at the docs and let us know how you get on.

Thinking of you

Nat and Megan xxxx

Try not too worry

You're doing the right thing by taking him to the doctors just to be on the safe side, but i often get a small kind of pea sized lump behnd my ear & that is a swollen gland so maybe that's what baby Archie has too?!

Let us know what the doctor says.

Hope you're both sorted soon xXx

Stop worrying

all baby boys have wee lumps (girlsmight too but I haven't had any) It's glands, very common in the area you mention, their chests too.

I used to find them and go straight to Doc but by time baby 4 had arrived I'd realised that they were right and it wasn't anything to worry about.. It'll be ok xx

Hey adele

I remember this happening to MrsMoos son Lucas...the post will be somewhere. Like everyone else has said though it'll be his glands, its so easy to think the worst about things though isnt it?

Hope all else is well.
