Sore, red, angry looking nappy rash

Almost looks like a burn!

My poor baby girl is saying ouch ouch each time i change her nappy. She has never suffered before at all. I haven't done anything different still change her as often as i did before but she's soooo sore.

Usually use Sudocrem but bought tube of Metanium on Monday but it seems to be getting worse not better!

Any bright ideas girl then please send them my way! Thank you xXx

could be a yeast infection... if it looks like it bubbles it's most likely a yeast infection. you should go see a doctor in that case.

however, if it's just a bad rash you can treat it with black tea. wash the rash with black tea every diaper change, let it dry for a bit and put some ointment on.
Weleda is pretty good.

hope your little girls will feel better soon

Bepanthen

I found this the best for my son, i use it at every change and its never came back

When ben

gets nappy rash, like at the mo i just let him run arund with no nappy on, which is great when the weather is nice and he is in the garden but is a bit of a nightmare when he is inside!!! i usually let him have 20 mins or so when i change his nappy if we are inside and just pray he doesnt poo, but if he did id just clean it up, its no big deal really if you mop up straight away, i have got some spray left over from when the dog was a pup, disinfectant odor neutrlising stuff thats great.

get her outside in the fresh air with no nappy on, it works wonders!!

Metanium

Archie had really bad blister type nappy rash last week. i used Metanium and it didnt seem to be doing anything to start with and his too seemed to get worse but it has cleared up a treat now, theres no sign of soreness.

Awww poor baby

metanium worked for us but some people rate bepanthen too. Maybe ask your HV cos could possibly be a bit thrushy? It's common in babies and then she could write some canesten up for you to apply. Hope it gets better soon x x x

Hi

Have just contacted doctor, he said Metanium is great to prevent & cure slight nappy rash but sounds like she has quite a bad attack of it so he is sending a prescriptopn up to the chemist to pick up this afternoon....... fingers crossed it will work!
