Curly hair ?

hey girls,

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for babies with curly hair? Over the last few weeks Tianas hair has gone rather wild lol When its wet its the tighest little curls, and it used stay that way as it dryed! But now as its getting longer, its getting really big & hard to control. If i brush it, its just a huge frizz ball but if i dont it still looks mad & messy, getting worse in the heat now!!
Ive got curly hair myself, but only use serum to calm it down and tianas older sister has curly hair too, but its afro so she needs stronger products, but she said to maybe use a tiny bit of coconut oil to help seperate the curls. i just need something gentle for baby hair, to tame it abit, im not trying to start stylin it everyday lol

any suggestions would be more than welcome please

Curly hair

can be tough to handle but i would not wash it too too often anyway maybe twice a week depending on how dry it is... when you wash it put conditioner on and then comb it through with a detangling comb.... my daughter is mixed race but has very very loose curls so its different but alot of my friends have that type of hair and that's what you should do... there's a range of products for it called Curls that you can get on ebay etc which are gentle enogh for babies / childrens hair...... oh and if you can once a week put conditioner on her hair comb it through and then cover her head with a plastic bag and a warm towel to steam her hair... sounds mad but it works......... hope that helps hun xx danica and cadene xx

Well

I haven't got a curly haired baby but i use the johnsons baby detangle conditioner on my curly hair and its fab!!!!
My hair is naturally VERY monica!!! lol.
I started using it for when me and riley hav a shower together in the mornings as he is allergic to most adult bath and shower products so didn't wanna bring his rash out!
ANYWAYS,,,,... it does the trick for my hair! I leave it to dry naturally somedays and the curls separate nicely!
it does seem to leave residue in the hair that seems to combat the frizz factor too! haha!!!!

plus when I do get the chance to straighten my hair it makes it really soft!!! BONUS!!!!!!!!!!!

might be worth a try hun... It is the pink shampoo and conditioner. Tesco have it for a pound for a massive bottle at the min too!!!!!
