Talc?!

I was just wondering what peoples views were on using Talcum powder after baths?
I heard somewhere that you shouldnt use it on boys?! Im dont know how true this is tho!

I love babies after they have been all Talced up, they smell gorgeous.

(We have just had the nappy from hell!! Where he has been constipated he has just let rip the biggest pile of Mister Whippy looking chocolate poop, the OH went to change him and had to get up coz he was gagging, it was soooooooo funny!!!)

I use talc now. It is very nice after bathtime n I use a lavendar one which is calming b4 bedtime. xx

I use talc!... didnt realise there was rules not to use it?... Rosie has been ok with it?

all these do's and dont's its confussing... my mum used talc on me and my brother we dont have problems with our lungs?

Liquid talc.. i have some from mothercare and Avent .. the mothercare one smells better than the avent one tho..

I think they are great.. especially round the neck and creases (and George has lots of them!)

Hi Adele,

I've heard this is bad too, cos even the tiniest amount can get airborne and it's bad for their lungs when they breathe it in.

You can buy liquid talc though, I've never tried it (but my sister in law has, she got it from Kiddicare) so I'm not sure if it's any good!
