Hey

I could of possibly had mine already.

I stopped bleeding for about 2 weeks, then last monday started again, but was getting stomach cramps and blood clots which is what my periods were like, and its stopped again now, but who knows, guess will have to wait and see.

Its horrible though, forgotten what they were like

Nat and Megan (7 weeks today )

yeah i will just have to wait a few more weeks and if no sign of period...off to the doctors i go

Yeah periods are nasty!... think im silly wishing for one though but id rather get one sooner then later, saves me the worry! lol

Hey hun

I havnt had a period yet either. I thought I might have done when my post birth bleeding stopped for a while but the HV said not!
Anyway, I asked this question at the Docs on Thurs and he said it varies but if I havnt had one by 3 months then I should go back and get checked out?! He also said I didnt need a smear test until I was 6months post birth but I thought it was 3 months?!

Well...

George is five months old now and I THINK I had one last month. It was super-light though so I'm just waiting to see if I get another one (due this week coming up).

I expressed for two months so I thought it would probably take a while.

I did have some pregnancy symptoms but tests showed I'm not pregnant, just a bit weird, hee hee.

Love from Bec and George (five months) xxx

well hun, when my son was 5 months old, i still hadnt had a period - altho i had been b/f which can and usually does, delay it coming back.

i mentioned to my HV at baby clinic and she said not to worry, it can take up to a year for your cycle to return and your periods to start again. as it was, in my case, i was pregnant again! lol!!

dont worry, its early days

I had my first period when Lydia was 5 months old!!!
The first one was OK, but the second one was horrid ... I had forgotten how bad they were!!!
Make the most of not having them!!!

Periods

Hi there,

Mine came back four months after Emily was born (not too bad a period either!). But everyone is different!

Periods

Hey Lucy,

Thomas is 10 weeks old now and last week was the first week I had a period, was awful, I'd almost forgotten all about them it had been so long! I think it also depends if you are breastfeeding or bottle, if you are breastfeeding this can delay your periods. I am bottlefeeding, but was breastfeeding for a week or so in the beginning, and expressing a couple of weeks after that, so that may have caused a slight delay in mine.

I really think it is different in everyone though, some people get theirs regularly, others takes months! My HV told me it can take up to a year for our bodies to get back to normal, including periods.

Lots of love,

Debra and Thomas, 10 weeks 5 days old xxxxx
