The start of teething = me thinks!

Hi Girls,

After alot of you recommended Ashton and Parsons Teething Powder I decided to buy some ready for when we need it for Emily. Bought it yesterday morning! Anyway, later that day we went for a nice walk and Emily had her first go in her paddling pool but then come early evening she was so cranky, biting on everything and for the last couple of days she has been pooing about 6 times a dayime and they are quite runny and splattery!! (sorry if tmi).

So we gave her a little of the powder (only half) and then fed her and she went to sleep in the evening. All was okay but she has terrible nappy rash due to the excess poo so her little bottom is really red and she woke at 1am this morning after doing another poo so I had to change her and clean her in the middle of the night - bless her - she was really crying.....

We gave her the other half of the powder and then she went off straight to sleep until 6.30am which was such an improvement since the night before as she woke up crying nearly every half hour in the night after 3am but she would settle with her dummy. Thank god this has happened over the weekend as Mark has helped too.

I really think the Ashtons Powder has helped, apparently it settles tummy and poo disorders too (which are related to teething). Havent given her any today as she seems fine. Bottom is still rather red so she is having a no nappy day and I have put some sudacream on.

Anything else that can help with nappy rash??

Anyway we think this is the start of teething so I am so pleased I bought the powder after you girls recommended it !!

Lots of Love
Natalie & Emily xxx

Awww, poor emily

Sam has been showing signs of teething, on and off over the last week, Red cheek, runny nose, drooling and chomping, no change with bowels so far tho. I've used a bit of calgel but haven't needed the powers yet, have some ready tho, glad to hear they work.

We use metanium whenever Sam shows signs of nappy rash, it's amazing stuff and we also use zinc and castor oil at almost every change to keep his little dimply bum soft, ha ha!

Come on teeth, just come thru as fast as you can with the least amount of pain please! x x x

Hi hun

aww bless her!

the powders are amazing! such a godsend

when siri has nappy rash, which is thankfully very rarely, we just pop a bit of zinc cream on. it helps the skin heal so quickly, it's amazing! i've used it on sore areas couple of times and it works wonders. better than anything else i've tried. and really soothing

hugs
elizabeth & siri
