Babies and water.....

hey guys

i cant really complain about yas shes such a good baby but she doesnt seem to like water?! any tips on how to get her to drink more water?? i notice her struggling to poo sometimes so water would probably help!

my first drank loads of water so i hoped my 2nd would too! i do filter my water in a britax filter jug in the fridge (can so taste the diffrence). she makes it look like shes drinking it but then you see it all coming out of the bottom of her mouth and her bib is soaking wet lol. so i know shes not drinking it. got the HV coming tomorrow might ask her, might try the baby juice trick

Megan wont drink water at all, she spits it out, and finds it even more amusing tht she can spit it out quite far.

I put extra water in her bottle in the afternoon, or baby juice. with baby juice she drinks and drinks.

i wouldn't be surprised if it was all the additives in the water, changing the taste, that they don't like.
since moving here i can't stand the water in the UK as it just tastes nasty. have to admit to drinking loads of juice when there! lol
the water here is amazing, such a difference.

have you tried filtering and chilling it? that always helps.

I hav the exact same problem with Riley!
If I am honest in the end I used to sneak an extra 2 ounces of water into his feeds,lol. I would make him a 7oz Bottle then put 2 ounces of warm water into it to keep up his fluid intake!
To this day, he's 15 months now, he wont drink water without juice or milk in it! I think some babies just dislike water!
