Tonight is the night for dropping the late feed....

Should have done this weeks ago but last night I struggled to wake up Emily at 10pm and all she had was an ounce so enough is enough.

She will go to bed at 7pm as normal and fingers crossed she lasts the whole night without a feed.........

What did your little ones do when you did this - was it successful.

Emily is have 3 solid meals a day plus bottles so hopefully it will go well.

AND, I get to go to bed when I want!!

Yippee!

Will let you know how it goes

Update......!

Hi all,

Well dropping the night feed was successful in that Emily was fine in the night, she did wake a few times but we pop a dummy and she is back off. She was awake properly at 6.20am this morning but just chattering to herself

The only trouble was that MUMMY could not switch off!!! I went to bed just after 9pm but I had a bad night, probably fretting that she may get up early so I did not get any extra sleep but perhaps it will be better tonight - perhaps a glass of wine may help

This morning she scoffed a whole 5 ounce bottle and she had a bowl of porridge.......

Thanks Girls!

Yey!!

I'm the same sometimes, we still have Sam in with us cos we're waiting for a blackout blind for his room as it gets the sun first thing so every time Sam stirs I wake, even if not fully. Dan helpfully says 'don't wake up' like I can control it, he sleeps soundly thru all of it so between Sam and his snoring dad, i get very broken sleep! Am thinking of booking myself into a travel lodge for a night for a decent sleep and lie in...ha ha ha, that'll show em!

Well done to Emily, and get yourself that wine tonight, that'll help and now you know she can do without the night feed I bet you sleep lots better tonight x x x

So far,

not the best day in terms of feeds, we were out for her 4pm feed and she gets so distracted that I had to feed her in the car and she did not take alot and we finished at 5pm. So now I will have to give her tonnes of milk and solids a bit later tonight, normally 7pm but will be nearer 8 now......

If she goes through the night after today then I will be impressed!

Natalie

I bet she will

Good luck x x x

Hey

Emily went to bed at 7.30pm tonight after 5 ounces of milk and loads of baby rice........

Trouble is I want to go to bed at 9.30pm but Mark is watching the football so I will probably be awake until that finishes which is just after ten......

Does anyone else get nervous when they are trying new things with their babies...... or is it just me...

Will be trying out a new feeding schedule as of Friday too -!

Hey Ho!
