No not only
at night but it's very common to occur in the evening. My first son had it 24/7 but any the subsequent babies who had difficulty only had it in the evening. I don't think Infacol is any good for colic. It can be good for wind problems but not the full blown colic.
Unfortunatey John had it big time for 12 weeks. I kept being told it would probably settle down after 12 weeks and it did.
However, that was a very long time ago as you all know so at the moment the best advice I can give you is to try Dr.Browns bottles (dunno if you're bf), colocynth granules (homeopathic remedy buy it from the pharmacy) - very effective in settling Francis down. Infant Gaviscon was also helpful for us and also putting the baby in the carrier thingy and going for a walk. As and when needed, as much as you can. I just walked around our area or into town. Babies settle and get relief from the closeness and the position the baby carrier allows. Plus your head clears so you're less stressed for your return.
Francis was at least 6 weeks old if I remember right when he suffered a bit of colic and I thought that it couldn't be colic as he wouldn't have been so old before suffering but it's right enough that it can come at this age.
Hope you all get relief soon xx
