Hello all, baby has bad.....

Constipation at the mo.
Hiya all,
Haven't posted 4 a while. Haven't really had a lot 2 say!!
Well my little girl is now 10 n a half week old, eek!!! Time is certainly flying.
She is doin well now but we r havin problems with toileting. Very constipated.
She is goin every 2 days but I have 2 help her by wiping her bottom with baby wipes once she's started it 2 stimulate her bottom so she will do more?!
She gets very sore n cries. It isn't exactly hard when she does it but it bothers her. Sorry if tmi!
Will be takin her 2b weighed 2moro so will ask the HV. Hard 2 give water as she is feeding every 2/3 hours n sleeping inbetween feeds so haven't got the time span 2 feed her lots a water?!

its horrible isnt it, i was in tears when megan was really bad.

If you havent got time to feed her water too, put some extra water in her feeds, it will start working and that way she wont be spitting it out as she wont actually notice.

How is her weight gain going now?

Megan is now 12lb 13oz, i cant believe it, taking her for her injections tomorrow. not looking forward to it at all, but it has to be done.
She is suffering really badly with reflux today, its breaking my heart cos she is in so much pain, i hate feeding her cos its making her worse.

Well better try and make the most of an early night

Aw its horriable!

I Usally give Rosie half an oz of water before a feed and if she will take it after i let her have anthor half an oz... or you could try 3oz of water with 1/2 a teaspoon of freshly squeezed orange works really well! My HV advised this but she didnt say when to give this to her so i used to give her half an oz before a feed and if she was really bad i would let her take a bit. Speak with you HV when u see her next though because they may suggest the orange.

Well I am goin 2 weigh in 2moro so will c if my HV is there n will ask her wot she would recommend. She is very good with me normally so fingers crossed she isn't on annual leave with it bein the hols!!!!
She has had poo 2day n is alot more settled now.
Hope ur o.k 2day. Its been a nice day again. We have been out walkin.
