16month old chipped front tooth

Hi, my little fella fell at the park today, nothing new there, checked him all over nothing obvious and he carried on playing, got home later and noticed when he smiled he has a little chip out of his front tooth. My heart sank for him poor little might, i've rang the dentist for advice and they said they'd look at it tomorrow, can't imagine there's anything they can do but i'm not looking forward to him trying to peer in his mouth, i have enough trouble. just wondering if anyone elses little ones have done similar? it seems since his been walking and running whenever he falls its his mouth, normally having fat lips (doesn't look good) not suprising i suppose this has happened, it only shows a bit, but he has such a lovely little smile and he has these teeth for a few years yet i'm really gutted for him.

Yep!!

My daughter is 19 months and did the exact same thing last week. Didn't even know she had done it. She has lost nearly half a front tooth. She has a huge gap between her 2 front teeth anyways. And now it looks huge. I didn't take her to the dentist tbh. I showed the health visitor she didn't seem bothered. It doesn't seem to bother my daughter and she is still eating like a horse.

I know it's upsetting. I felt absolutely gutted. I can see her 1st school photo now - A huge gappy smile. Oh well.

She seems to fall on her face all the time. I guess this one was one to many.

Hi

oh bless her, just adds to the cuteness i suppose. glad she's ok,

x
