Facebook groups

Really peeved off with Facebook. I am even thinking about closing my account but I have family all over the world and not only want to keep in pictures with them but for them with Keegan.

Anyway - this morning one of our (sofem) ladies joined the group - get Tracey Connolly (Baby P's) mother off facebook. Wanting to join I went on and briefly read the board! OMG - there is one person on it Span kyu (I think) who is slagging off everyone in a really gross way. She is advertising her own group (cant remember he name of it now) but basically inviting members to tell horrid stories on babies/chilren being hurt/killed and that all children ar c*nts' How no child is a joy or a miracle. One of the threads on board (get Tracey Connolly off FB) is - I had a party when I found out about baby P!

What the hell is going on in this world!!!!! It makes me sick because surely FB are bound by laws and they should be monitoring what is openly available.

I am all for freedom of speech but this is sick. Seriously thinking about closing my account!

I don't join

any of these groups now. Half of them are made by the trolls as deliberate baiting groups and the other half soon become a magnet for the trolls such as Span kyu just to get a rise out of everyone.

They get everywhere. They even come on the group I go to every day to talk about Big Brother saying things like 'put Jade's rotting c**t in the house' to get a rise. We ignored them and they moved on. I recognised some of the names from some of these baiting groups about Huntley and Connelly etc.

Fb shuts down troll accounts regularly but they just open them up again under new stupid names and aren't shy about informing who they used to be.

Don't give it another thought, there's sick people everywhere. Forget them x

Omg yeah i think i saw that too..or it might be a diff one but the one i saw was "Join this group if u think baby p deserved what he got".
How the hell can a baby, even any1 deserve any kind of such horrific violent acts?
This world is very sick and cruel, im surprised it is on there and they were even aloud to make it!

it is a sick and twisted individual that seems to be gettin off on winding people up. there was someone else on there the other day that had a different name and I think its the same person now with a new profile!
I dont think Facebook controlls or moderates much to be honest, and It has made me think about removing all my pics of Riley. Bur a friend of mine reckons that even if you delete your account they still saves the pics you stored in case you re register at a later date!
sometimes I think Facebook is more trouble than its worth!

As for the "woman" who to be honest I reckon is prob actually a man with a very sadistic sense of humour! I think every time FB kicks them off, they will prob just keep re appearing with a new Alias!
the world is full of sick B*sterds and quite frankly I find it frightening that there are people out there who feel that way!

What sick people. I'm not even going to start on what I think about them. I'm meant to be keeping my blood pressure down. Lol.

Nikki - You can't actually delete your FB account. You can only de-activate it. If you chose the private option you can aviod being tagged and all your comments on other peoples pictures are deleted. But all your photos are stored on there basically until you re-activate your account. They keep everything on there just incase you decide to re-instate your account.
I don't like having photos of Daisy on there.. But like you said, it's nice to show friends and family that you don't see often.
FB is nothing but a trouble causer and I'm starting to wonder why I signed up

Its sick, i didnt read a lot of it as it was so bad, i sent out loads of invites for that group and now wish i hadnt as there is so much bad stuff on it.
I have reported this person as think a lot of others have too

Cant understand why facebook isnt monitoring properly.

stinking e mail to facebook this morning and reported a few people on there so maybe they have removed it.

Nikki - you are right. Everything on your FB account is saved for 30 days so you can reinstate your account.

Jen - troll account! I have learnt something new today. I just wish there was more monitoring of who opens up accounts.

Anyways - I am not going to look at groups anymore as it just winds me up.
