Am i going to have to change her milk again?

We put Megan on cow and gate a few weeks ago, stage one for the day, stage two for evening.

The hv told me on tuesday to put megan on stage 2 constantly as she was being sick after every feed, but she is still being sick after every feed and its now looking like cottage cheese, not all the time, but once or twice a day, been told this is normal but megan is getting quite distressed when she is sick like this.

Also since being on cow and gate she has had diarehha (SP), the hv told me its just her body getting used to the milk but its been going on for a few weeks now, megan doesnt seem bothered by it, but surely its not good for her?

Have just had to open 2 new tubs of milk so dont really want to change, but i dont want to be causing her problems and making her ill.

Well i had some aptimal easy digest in the cupboard so have tried her on that, its not filling her up very much, but she hasnt had the cottage cheese sick, to it looks like im gonna have to give them tubs away on freecycle and give aptimal stage one and two a go.

She had a solid poo in one nappy, and it must of hurt cos at the end she burst into tears, red faced and everything, but then carried on afterwards when i changed her, and it was runny so i have no idea whats going on.

Think i might pop onto the cow and gate live chat with the advisors and just see what they say, im going to the docs on monday, they are going to have to give her gaviscon or something, im fed up of being passed off by the HV

xx

Hiya,
Well I have just swapped 2day from cow n gate 2 aptimal as my baby has constipation so HV said 2 swap!
Well she is o.k at the mo but early days so will how she goes.
Have u thought the sickyness may be reflux? Its just my baby is like this n HV saw her bein sick after feeds n said it was reflux. Doctors have put her on gaviscon infant which is workin very well n helpin her 2 keep milk down. Maybe this would help Megan.
mummyand2. xx

Me too

Ive changed Archie too Aptamil 1: because he has trouble pooing and 2: hes sicky after feeds. How strange we're all doing it at the same time!!

Mummyand2: Gaviscon can make them constipated too, my hv told me this the other day when I asked if Archie would benefit from it!!

Lets keep each other updated
GoodLuck both of you
Adele xx

Thanks...

Thanks 4 lettin me know that about the Gaviscon Adele,
My HV didn't say that 2 me!!!
Will have 2 c wot occurs then. She has been on Gaviscon it a few wk now but really needs it as she is very sicky throughout the day regardless of when she feeds!
Will c how she goes though as she hasn't yet hada poo n been on Aptimal 4 2 days.
She normally goes every 2 days so should go 2day!!! Keep u posted. xx mummyand2
