Hi hun
do you mean grow out of the jaundice? or the jittery things? i can't help with the latter but i know quite a bit about the former.
siri was severely jaundiced when she was born and was very sick because of a combination of that, not getting any milk from me (we didn't know my milk hadn't come in properly - another story lol) and because she was so early.
if you google jaundice and bilirubin there are loads of sites that explain jaundice properly.
how is calum in general? does he seem wriggly, healthy in every other way? is he taking all his milk? or are you bf'ing - does he seem to be feeding enough?
as he is 4wks he is already alot stronger than newborns. has your doc seen calum? and if so and you are still concerned - take him to another doc for a second opinion. though i am sure if your doc has seen him then there is no need to worry.
i can't really help any more than this as every baby is so different - but jaundice to a certain level is normal. but it is always best to check if you are unsure hun
if i were you i'd take him to a doc so he can be seen if he is listless and not interested in anything, then take him now. or at least call the docs/ward/nhs.
let us know hun hugs elizabeth & siri (now 7 months and going strong!!) xxxx
