1st nite in own room n cot.

Hi all,
Hope ur all glued 2 the X Factor like me!!!!
Well we'v taken the plung n put baby in her own room in the cot 4 the 1st time 2nite!
We have put up a black out blind n put her a baby calming n soothing CD on( classical music) which helped settled my now 4 yr old when she was a baby.
Well, she has gone 2 sleep fine.
Have only been in twice 2 her. Maybe its a 1 off so ain't braggin just yet, lol!
Just hopin she will be o.k n if she wakes in the nite she will settle back down without any bother!

Update....

well mornin all,
baby did fantastic in her own room!!!
she went 2 bed at 7pm, i only went in2 her twice. she slept through til 3am when i feed her n within half hr she was back in bed asleep!
hubby got up with her at 7am this morning so all smiles so far. just hope its an ongoing thing n not a one off!!!! xxx

Megan found her cot too big but moses basket too small, and i think the fact the cot didnt have any smells she recognized she didnt settle too well, so we put her beanbag in her cot for a few nights until she got used to it, now she does fine.

i found i was checking on her lots even with the baby monitors on for the first few nights.
