Pillows and cot duvets?? and should i put him in a bed? oh so many questions! lol

Riley is 16 months now, and I have been wondering about gettin him a wee pillow or cot duvet for the colder weather??
At the min he has a little Blanket and he has a grobag on but thats it!
And I was also wonderin when people reckon its time to move them into a bed? Riley is a cheeky little devil and I bet he'd climb out and get his cars and trains out lol..
any advice welcome ladies x x

hugs and smooches to ya all!

I was thinking of buying Scarlett a bed as the new baby will need her cot but i bought her a cotbed instead as i think she will climb out of a bed and end up in my bed, as long as Riley hasn't outgrown his cot and isnt trying to climb out i would leave him where he is, obviously if you are trying to potty train him you will also need to move him into a bed so he can get out and go to the loo if he needs to. Like Rach, i dont think i will do it until after her 2nd birthday.

Hi nikki

Eleanor is just a week over 17 months now I think, Eleanor has started taking herself out of her growbag, every single night, so we're going to get her a quilt and pillow now. I am eager too move her into a bed, or put her cot/bed into the bed, however, she is very settled at bedtime and so really I think it'd be silly for me to disturb her, she doesn't try & climb out yet, and we're not potty training seriously, so I think it'd just upset things, like you say, she'd probably be up trying to play and what not, I plan to wait until about her 2nd birthday before she goes into a cot, we'll see how we go.

Hope you're both well.
Rachael
