Tampon use after birth/c-section

Hi all, I forgot to ask the doc the other day but when is it ok to start using tampons? I bled for 5 weeks after having Thomas on 9th June, then had first proper period on 24th July for 7 days & have come on again on 27th August. Am I ok to use tampons now?

I had my first period 8 weeks after having Archie. I used Tampons but I did have trouble using them coz I found I was still quite dry!!

Omg the pain!

I tried a mini tampax yesterday - well...I could barely walk lol, I couldn't bend down to get the washing out of the washer & I was absolutely petrified of pulling the bl**dy thing out! but I had to bite the bullet & get it out - dry!!! (soz tmi) It was only a small one too but it didn't half hurt. It felt like it was rubbing on something sore inside, I'm definatley tender in there - no wonder having sex hurt Oh well, pads it is still

You poor thing!! This is EXACTLY what happened too me!! I keep saying to the OH......If I cant get a Tampon in how the hell will your willy go in??!!

I dont understand it either, its not like we actually GAVE BIRTH!!!!!
