Thanks

everyone for the replies i think i will get her checked out. My athsma got worse when i was pregnant i was only on the blue inhaler before but then got put on the brown (steroid) one and the blue one together. I hope she doesnt inherit it as its not nice. poor thing i have athsma and eczma and her dad has sickle cell anemia so with hope she doesnt inherit anything bad!

Hi hunni

Traivys wheezes all the time and I got him checked out as his dad is asthmatic but the doctor said it was not on his chest and not to worry - he still does it now so if I were you I would get Yasmin checked out as it could be nothing to worry about but it will put your mind at rest

Hiya

hi
my son is 5 months old and his dad has chronic asthma , also most of his side of the family do aswell. My son developed a cough and then started wheezing terribly. My first thought was he has asthma?
I took him to the doctors and it turned out he had a chest infection and possible slight asthma, but in children they cannot diagnose asthma until they are 3 years old. So the doctor gave me oral ventolin syrup and antibiotics for him and he is fine now. I do reckon he will devlop asthma like his dad as he gets old but fingers crossed he dosent. But honestly it sounds worse than what it is, he was fine the whole time you would never of known he was ill , but seriously try not to worry, there is so much they can do now even if she does develop it.
Hope this helped a bit.

She may just have a cold coming? I would take her to the doctors just encase see what they say.
