Sleeping habits - should i be worried

Hey,

Emily sleeps well and lately as it has got cooler she has a little blanket over her sheet. Lately she gathers up the blanket and brings it to her face so her face is partially covered by the cellular blanket. Is this a cause for concern or is this for her comfort. We do try and move the blanket from her face when she is asleep but I am worried it may affect her breathing if we leave it......

Thanks
Natalie & Emily ( 6 months) x

Hi hun

siri pulls her muslin cloth - which is her cuddly - and sometimes her cuddly bunny, and sometimes her cellular blanket - over her face,,,
they are all light and airy and it's easy to breathe through them.
we do move them after she is asleep, but she really finds it comforting for them to be there.

as long as they are light and she isn't throwing her arms next to her head and pulling the blankets down, then she will be fine

hugs

Hiya

From a very early age Sam started pulling blankets over his face to go asleep, I initially thought he'd done it by accident so I'd pull it off and he'd put it straight back! I think it is a comfort thing. He has a little blanky that he rubs on his face now but is in a sleeping bag so doesn't have big covers to pull over his head. I wouldn't worry too much but I'd prob keep checking and move them if they were right over her mouth.
