If you want to be eco friendly and think about your ecological footprint, you should use 100% recycled paper for you birth announcements.. You can buy recycled paper at tesco and create your own cards - which is the best thing to do I think. Or you can find some websites which offer them. The quality of the paper is very good. What do you think ?
