A toddler that likes to shout!

Hi girls, anyone have this problem? Lottie is now 16 months and she shouts quite a bit.....sometimes very ear piercing! Mainly when she is tired (not good when in the car driving on the motorway....very distracting!) And when we are out for something to eat - pub/restaurant, she wants to get out and walk and if we dont get her out she shouts and shouts!
it drives me up the wall...have we produced a litte monster or will she grow out of it? (ha ha!)

Mine 2...

Hiya,
My liitle girl was like this 2!!!
She was a nitemare. I tk her 2 playschool n all mums would stare at me as she used 2 do it all time, when tired, frustrated, upset etc. I was so embarassed n upset it was a nitemare! It was so loud. People used 2 wince!!!
She is nearly 4 now n can still scream with the rest of them!!! When havin a paddy she is very loud but luckily she has stopped the initial screamin n squelling she used 2 do on a regular basis!!!
I'm sure its a girl thing n they do grow out of it sumwot hun! My mate had a boy 1st time round n would laugh at me when I was stressed with it all. She now has a girl who has started doin the screaming. Hence, she doesn't find it as funny now!!!
Give her a year and I'm sure she will have stopped it!!! Good luck. Girls just like 2 b loud!!!

Sorry you had it too....

It can be quite stressful cant it....and never sure what to do to stop her- ignoring doesnt seem to help! She gets louder and i once shouted back in frustration and she joined me (arghhh!) and yes, people just stare and look at you like its all your fault!
I hope she does grow out of it....i might have to get some ear protection!

Lou xx
