Megan is 12 weeks old today.
I cant believe it, i still look at her sometimes and cant believe she is here and mine.

When you get told chances of having kids are very low and then you are cuddled up with this baby on the sofa that is giving you the biggest smiles, its amazing. The look of trust in her eyes for me and for lee makes my heart melt.

i love going to her room in the morning to get her up cos she goes mad, legs and arms everywhere, squeals and smiles, and then she gives big hugs, she can even blow kisses now, not literally but the noise it makes she imitates.

She is so forward its crazy, she loves trying to get the spoon off me when giving her baby rice, she tries her hardest to sit up, she can imitate a lot of actions we do, she giggles (but not for too long she makes herself cough), she is just amazing, she nods her head like she is answering you if you ask her a question, so funny but probably the reason i never come home from town with anything for me, she always disapproves lol.

I will stop going on now, just crazy that 12 weeks ago, i was lying on a theatre bed and they were on their way to getting megan out, and i was crazily talking about how good epidurals were whilst trying not to fall asleep,

Im sooooooo happy!!!!!!

its amazing how much they can do things alot more younger then they used to. Megan seems very forward for her age

I would love rosie to go on baby rice as she watches us eat and her little tounge and mouth goes but i have no need for her to go on it as she hardly finishes off some of her bottles so shes not to fussed but im sure if i put a spoon to her mouth she would take what ever is on it off! She is also starting to follow our dogs longer and she will litrally push herself up to tip her head backwards to see where they have gone lol... i also think she will be a bum shuffler or even walk before crawling lol because when shes on her stomach she does a sky dive position lol and ends up screaming! she wud rather be sat up looking at what everyone is doing over my shoulder.

Went to Ikea today and went in the cafe to feed her and we sat near the childs play thing and she took half her bottle but was more intrested in what all the other toddlers were doing and started getting excited lol her arms and legs were going and she was grunting as if to say let me go and play lol!!

Does Megan cough at you for attention? Rosie is terriable, she coughs so i look at her and she does this big cheeky grin and then shys off to one side and then smiles again lol bless the joys of parenting! I love it!!!! Can be stressful at times but its all worth it for those big smiles!!!

Hope ur both well xxxx

the coughing thing sounds exaclty like megan!! its sooo funny. if we ignore her and she has been coughing she will squeal.

Megan does seem to be quite forward, she gets really bored easily too. We took her to a family fun day and party on saturday and she was awake till 11.30 at night with a few tiny 20 min sleeps here and there even though she was majorly tired just because she wanted to look at lights, people, bouncy castles, she slept all day yesterday lol
Cant beleive how nosy she has gone now

i love it though, worth every second

xx

Awwwww

What a lovely post! Megan sounds adorable and very content - you must be doing a good job!

I know exactly how you feel though - my little girl, Olivia, is going to be 1 in 3 weeks time and I cant believe it!! How can a year have gone by so quickly and my tiny baby turned into a little girl?

She's saying mama, dada, nana, ta and hi, she's trying her hardest to walk but isnt quite brave enough to let go of the one hand we're holding and I'm not sure I've ever heard such a beautiful sound as her giggling! She just seems so clever and tonight I'm sure she told me in her own little way she wanted to go to bed! She has one of those nightlight projectrs in her room and when we take her up to bed she waves her hands in front of the lights and wiggles her fingers so that she can see it on the ceiling. While I was giving her her milk tonight she kept spitting it out and wiggling her fingers in the air so I took her upstairs and she went to bed as good as gold, waved me off and I never heard another peep out of her!!

Keep up the good work Nat, and treasure every moment - it flies by all too quickly
