Scan date

Hey girls and bubbies, I hope you are all well.

Ive got a scan date to find out what going on in my Uterus!! Its on Monday, so quick!
They have to do an Internal it sounds painful, has anyone had one of these?

Anyway, Im not sure how I feel, I want to know whats going on but at the same time dont want them to find anything hideous!! But I cant keep going on getting these infections!!

Glad u now have a date, that was quick!

Dont stress yourself out about it, its best to be relaxed, it may be uncomfy but if your relaxed it wont hurt.

Im sure everything will be fine, atleast then they can give you the correct medicine to clear it up.

Hiya,

Dont worry it is not painful, I have had two internal scans and basically they insert a long pole inside of you - it is not too thick (a vibrator is thicker!! ) and they pop some gel on to make it easy. It is more comfortable than a smear actually.

ooooooh, i read that title and thought 'adele is pregnant, how the hell did i miss that!!'.

anyhoo. i had internal scans with both my pregnancies (with oliver to rule out an ectopic and with emilie as part of a private scan i paid for to date the pregnancy) and i guess that this will be the same thing.

its not painful, bit undignified as you might imagine, but its ok. they just get this long thin thing and put a condom on it (which for some reason gave me complete hysterics!) and then they just get on with it - dont think you need me to explain where they put it!
