Paediatriction

I've had to take Daisy to the docs this morning as over the weekend she has been complaining of a pain in her lower tummy and back and she said it hurt when she did a wee. So I took her in this morning and he said she has a water infection. But he has referred her to a paediatriction for more tests she had a water infection 6 months ago but I don't get why she has to see the paediatrition.
Does anyone know why this could be?

Hope all is well

Only guessing

Maybe they've referred her because its reoccuring and unlike a GP who deals with general complaints from all types and ages of people, a Paediatrition specialises in children and childhood related problems. What may cause an adult urinary problem maynot in a child and visa versa. This is a good thing, shes in the beast hands xx

I hope you get to the bottom of it xx

Hi hun,

not gonna be much help I'm afraid but didn't want to read and run. The only thing I can think is maybe it's because she had the other infection a few months ago and they're looking at it as a recurring thing and want to make sure there's no reason for it. That really is only a guess though, sorry did say I wasn't gonna be much help! Hope someone else can shed more light,

love, Clare xxx

Thanks for replying hun. Yeah maybe you're right. I'll just have to wait and see what they do at the appt I suppose!
Thanks again.
