What time is best to wean?

Im thinking of weaning Rosie, but was wondering what the best times are? My HV just recommended that only offer her the baby rice if she has finished off the whole of her bottle. Ive also heard that 5pm is best to feed but not the 1st or last feed of the day? A little confussing?

Hey hun,
Well I have just this wk started givIn my baby a few mouthfuls of baby rice or Rusk mixed with formula.
I do it after morning bottle or bedtime. It may fill them better. I don't think it matters when u give it though. I just find she is hungrier in the morning so will take it.

I started by offering a bit of baby rice after my babies lunch time bottle or after his late afternoon bottle. That being said - he never really like baby rice so I would mix in a little apple puree to sweeten it slightly.
