A few questions.... and i got yasmins ears pierced!!!

Hi ladies,
just a few things....

Firtly....is there a bug going around? as i was perfectly fine last night but today was J's first day at ther new school so i decided to drop her off then head into town to get Yasmins ears pierced! On the bus i started to feel really sick, i went into mcds and got a still fanta as my mouth tasted horrible, i literally took 2 sips and threw it away! I then went toilet, seems like i have a bad case of the runs (soz tmi!) so i thought ok im just gonna get what i need then go, so i went to argos to get J's birthday present that was down in price , as soon as i walked into argos i walked back out again as i could feel the vomit coming (soz again tmi!) all you see is me running with the buggy to the nearest alley way and as soon i go to the end of it i vomited 3 times! I did feel a bit better after getting it out of my system but i havent been myself now all day and still have the runs, although i didnt vomit again after that! i had to call oh to leave work early (bless him) and as i felt a little better after vomiting i got yasmins ears done and headed straight home! so not a good day... on the upside... J loved school

and secondly.... When do babies start to sit alone??? Yasmin gets so frustrated poor thing, shes always pulling herself up but cant sit unsuported! she wont lie down!! she rolled over by herself last night (and hasnt done it since lol) but im not sure when she will master sitting??

Oh and she has started making this really louch screeching sound?? and now that she has realised she can do it, she KEEPS doing it

Hope everyone is fine.... and hope all babies are doing well!

Yep

Ashira is the same. She lies on her back and tries hard to sit up or something, it is so funny. She also learned to roll from back to front but not vice versa so I end up turning her over at 3am because she is crying! She also discovered these high pitched screams - like a real little girl! it was cute to start with but it gets to your ears. She seems to love it!

ps. oh and I also have a cold approaching....

There is alot of illnesses going around...last weds evening i was really cold, shivering, crampy stomach, 38 temp, achey all over (sounds a bit like swine flu symptoms) but the next day i felt better just a little achy and had runs for a few days after but whilst all of this was going on Rosie was being fussy with feeds etc then i got a cold Fri and rosie had it Saturday and she is only just getting over it now. Everyone i speak to has had some sort of bug or cold.

Babies can sit alone with no support between 6 - 8months? depends as all babies are different. Rosie loves sitting but i still need to support her back otherwise she just slides to one side lol...she has learnt to lift her bottom whilst sitting and slide herself down the sofa!

She also screams lalalalaaaaa! growls and trys to blow raspberrys lol its funny.

Hope you feel better soon and get some rest if you can

Lucy & Rosie (18wks xx) how old is Yasmin?

Hey

We are probably no where near you, but my brother, his gf and my nephew all got ill over the weekend, my brother thought it was food poisoning at first, they also had megan saturday without telling us they were ill so now she seems to have some kind of bug.

Ive got a viral infection, i feel like im going to be sick but i have quite a phobia so thank god ive managed not to be sick.

As for the noises, Megan can squeel, really high pitched so now she does it all the time to see who gives her a reaction lol, she was doing it in the doctors, luckily everyone thought it was funny, on the bad side the more people who laughed at her the louder she was getting.

Cant help with the sitting though.
Glad J enjoyed school

Take care and hope you feel better soon

Hey hun

aww bless, did she cry when she had her ears done? I bet she looks soooo cute!

Eerm I think the average age for them to sit alone is 6 to 7 months but each baby is different. Thomas did it yesterday & he keeps trying but I can't leave him & now just prop pillows around him. We also have a blow up ring thingy that he can sit in.

Hope you're feeling better, I've had dodgy guts every morning for the past 5 days & last night after eating I had the runs (soz tmi). I had started my new "eating healthy" idea & had probiotic yoghurt, an apple & Riveta - so that probably didn't do my guts any good lol. Joking aside, I think there are all sorts of bugs going round. It's awful when we're ill cos we've still got kids to look after - when all we want is for us to be looked after lol.
Hope you feel better soon - & cliche but....drink plenty of fluids!
